Mr.
Thomas Lau
Chairman
Mr. Thomas Lau, TMBG’s largest shareholder, also serves as the company’s Chairman. Mr. Lau is the majority shareholder of and currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Lifestyle International Holdings Limited (“Lifestyle International”), a Hong Kong Stock Exchange listed company with market capitalization of USD 3.5 billion (as at June 30, 2013).
Lifestyle International is a Hong Kong-based company specializing in operating mid to upper-end department stores and shopping malls in Hong Kong, Shanghai and other major cities in China. The company’s flagship SOGO store in Causeway Bay, Hong Kong is an internationally recognized shopping landmark. Subsidiaries of Lifestyle International engage in property development and holding.
An internationally recognized entrepreneur, Mr. Lau has over 30 years’ experience founding and leading successful businesses in Hong Kong, China and the United States, including real estate development, retailing, industrial manufacturing and information technology. A widely sought-after advisor to governments, global businesses and educational organizations, Mr. Lau currently serves as a member of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference Shanghai Committee and the Board of Directors of Shanghai Jiao Tong University. Mr. Lau earned a BA from the University of Toronto in 1975 and a MBA from the University of Windsor in 1978.
Ms.
Hasegawa
Vice-Chairman
Ms. Rumiko Hasegawa serves as TMBG’s Vice-Chairman. Ms. Hasegawa is currently President of Strategic Edge Asia Limited, a company she founded to manage and invest in emerging businesses in Southeast Asia and China.
She retired from Goldman Sachs (Asia) LLC as a Partner Managing Director in 2012. Ms. Hasegawa was the firm’s Head of Non-Financial Institutional Sales, with a focus on corporate clients, in Asia ex-Japan since 2000.
The group served its clients with a multi-product platform, including advising and executing asset sale, asset-liability management and special situations transactions. Ms. Hasegawa has extensive relationships with corporate leaders throughout Asia and Japan, and she continues to advise them on global business opportunities, particularly in emerging markets. She earned her law degree from Waseda University in Tokyo in 1983.

Irene Ho
Chief Executive Office
Ms. Irene Ho serves as TMBG’s Chief Executive Officer. Since the early 2000’s, Ms. Ho has invested in and managed a number of successful, luxurious real estate re-development projects focused in the most exclusive districts of Hong Kong.
Combining her architectural background with investment banking experience, she approaches real estate with a distinct objective to optimize the economic value of the property while creating residences with timeless style and unique elegance. Whether as investment properties or trophy residences, the luxury estates that she has developed remain some of the most sought after homes for top financiers and business executives in Hong Kong.
Ms. Ho is also an active investor in global real estate and advises governmental departments and agencies in some of the most intriguing emerging markets in Africa and Asia. Prior to 2000, Ms. Ho was an Executive Director in the Fixed Income, Currencies and Commodities Division of Goldman Sachs (Asia) LLC. She earned a BSc from Princeton University in 1990 with a double major in Civil Engineering and Architecture.
Mr.
David Voon
ViceChairman
Mr. David Voon serves as TMBG’s Vice-Chairman. Mr. Voon currently manages a portfolio for co-investors in various international investment projects.
He retired from Goldman Sachs (Asia) LLC as a Partner Managing Director in 2011. At Goldman Sachs, Mr. Voon served as the firm’s Head of Asia Private Wealth Management and on the firm’s Asia Management Committee since 2006. He has broad and extensive management experience in Goldman Sachs, having led businesses in the firm’s Fixed Income and Equities divisions, as well as serving as an Executive Director in the firm’s Legal Department.
Mr. Voon has extensive ties to the high net worth community in Asia and actively co-invests with entrepreneurs in early-stage business opportunities. He earned a BA in Economics from the University of California, Berkeley in 1988 and a JD from Harvard Law School in 1991.
